The Kyoto Protocol and EU Emissions Trading Scheme have pushed carbon management to the forefront. ERAS sees Carbon Management as a dynamic addition to the energy industry.

Our emPower model has been modified to forecast carbon emissions, market changes from the addition of renewable power sources,  and the effects of carbon tax.

UAE national communication on climate change

ERAS prepared the UAE Ministry of Energy’s national communication for climate change that was submitted to the UNFCC, covering current and projected environmental emissions, policies and costs of mitigation.

Carbon trading training session

The Middle East region is recognising the potential benefits of CDMs, available through Kyoto. A major bank in the UAE was interested in launching a carbon trading market. ERAS prepared and delivered training sessions for their executives and traders.
