Recent projects in Chemicals:

IPO for Saudi chemicals company

ERAS was hired by an international bank to prepare commercial due diligence on a Saudi chemicals manufacturing and trading company in preparation for its IPO. The work involved market evaluation, revenue projections and competivity analysis for each business unit.  

Polyester fibres and chip plant

ERAS were the marketing and financial advisors to a minority investment group who took a stake in the Ibn Rushd PET plant built in Yanbu. Our responsibilities included reviewing and amending the market study performed by SABIC, re-working the financials and proposing an optimal plant configuration based on our market study to SABIC.

Fertiliser benchmarking studies

ERAS delivered a benchmarking study on ammonia, urea and phosphate production plants for an industry group in the Middle East.

Pyrolysis waste plant

ERAS undertook a technology review of waste pyrolysis processes for a Japanese-led consortium interested in developing a waste management business in Indonesia. The fieldwork covered Indonesia, the US and Europe.
